SmartCafe is a free addition to the SmartKiosk Payment Bundle software. Using SmartCafe, administrators can unlock computers for use from one central workstation, as well as create and manage user accounts and prepaid PIN codes.

SmartCafe Client (only on Windows XP)

SmartCafe Client was developed specifically for use on computers running in Internet cafes and training classrooms. Before they can use the computer, users must first authenticate by entering their user name and password or a special pre-paid PIN code.

Once authorized, the computer can be used like any other regular desktop PC. Thanks to the included "DriveBack" technology, all changes made by the users can be rolled back. The PC will be reset to its original status at the end of every session.

In contrast to SmartKiosk, this software only allows you to charge for using the PC.

This license covers the installation of any number of clients at one specific location, e.g. an Internet cafe, training room, hotels, etc.

HotSpot Module

This module allows you to charge for the use of your WIFI network. Customers who bring their own laptop can now be charged for using the Internet over your wireless network by requiring them to enter a pre-paid PIN code.

The software is usually installed on the same computer that also runs SmartCafe Server. You will also need a second network card and WIFI access point hardware.

The number of clients that can use the HotSpot Module is unlimited.

Ticket Station  Module

Your customers can use Ticket Station to independently create and print pre-paid PIN codes by inserting coins or using their credit card.

The software is usually installed on the same computer that also runs SmartCafe Server. You will also need a receipt printer as well as a compatible payment device, such as a coin acceptor.
